Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Atama Drawing Tools (“Atama”, “we”, “us”) is an independent Android drawing-tools app published by Atama Drawing Tools. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, Atama Drawing Tools is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Data we collect

Account data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile photo. You may also add a username and choose a profile picture inside Atama.

Your content

If you use Studio or other community features, we store the content you create: posts, chat messages, comments, reactions, images you upload, bookmarks, friend connections, and reports. Reference images you import into the Grid, Model, and Timer tools are processed on your device unless you choose to share them in the community.

Feedback and support

When you submit in-app feedback or email support, we receive the message, the category you select, and the account details needed to reply.

Studio membership

We store your membership status, trial start date, and subscription state. If you subscribe through Google Play, Google processes the payment and shares purchase confirmation data with us. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Technical data

Our service providers automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the app, such as your IP address, device and app version, request timestamps, and error logs. Our website is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising SDKs, sell your personal data, or use your uploaded artwork to train machine-learning models.

3. How we use data

• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
• To provide the Grid, Model, Timer, and community features you request.
• To store and display the content you choose to share.
• To operate Studio memberships, trials, and subscription status.
• To respond to feedback, support requests, and reports.
• To moderate the community and enforce our Terms and community rules.
• To detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents, and to maintain service reliability.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

4. Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the app and Studio membership); legitimate interests (to secure, moderate, and improve the service); consent (where you choose to share content publicly or opt into optional communications); and legal obligation (where we must retain or disclose information).

5. Storage and sharing

Atama uses Google Firebase services — Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, and Cloud Storage — to run accounts, community content, and images. Google Play processes purchases made through the Play Store. These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information:

• When you ask us to, or when you share content with other community members.
• To comply with a valid legal request or to protect the rights and safety of users.
• To service providers that help us host, secure, and support the app.
• As part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service, subject to this policy.

Community content you post is visible to other Studio members. Please do not share personal information in chat that you do not want others to see.

6. Retention

We keep account data and content while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your profile and content within 30 days, except where we need to retain limited records for legal, security, or moderation purposes. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update your profile in the app and delete your account at any time.

To make a request, emailsupport@atamadrawingtools.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Account deletion

In the app, open More → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and associated content. If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your account and we will help.

9. Children

Atama is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If local law sets a higher age for digital consent, that age applies. If we learn that a child has provided personal data, we will delete it.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, Firebase security rules, and restricted administrative access to protect data. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong Google account password and keep your device secure.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, they use contractual safeguards for international transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
